Sierra Donor Services and Sacramento Chapter of NAHN
We are thrilled to announce our partnerships with Sierra Donor Services and the Sacramento Chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN). These collaborations are a testament to our shared commitment to improving community health and well-being.
Sierra Donor Services is a nonprofit organ procurement organization dedicated to saving and improving lives through organ, eye, and tissue donation. By partnering with Sierra Donor Services, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of organ donation and support their mission to connect lifesaving gifts to patients in need1. Together, we are working to educate our community and encourage more people to become organ donors, ultimately saving countless lives.

Un paseo por la historia
La Asociación Nacional de Enfermeras Hispanas™ (NAHN) fue fundada en 1975 por Ildaura Murillo-Rohde, PhD, RN, ND, FAAN porque se consideró que ANA no respondía a las necesidades de las enfermeras hispanas. En 1976, la organización se convirtió en la Asociación Nacional de Enfermeras de Habla Hispana/Apellido Español, que pasó a llamarse Asociación Nacional de Enfermeras Hispanas en 1979.
Restablecido en 2019, el Capítulo NAHN de Sacramento fue restablecido por ex alumnos y estudiantes de la Escuela de Enfermería Betty Irene Moore. Aunque somos un capítulo más pequeño, hemos tenido un fuerte impacto en nuestra comunidad. NAHN participa en esfuerzos locales para aumentar el número de hispanos en enfermería a través de eventos como Breaking Down Barriers y SHINES en colaboración con CCBNA.
